The primary aim of the Italian
Information Retrieval (IIR) workshop
is to provide an international meeting
forum where researchers, and
especially early stage researchers,
from the domain of Information
Retrieval and related disciplines can
exchange information and present past
results and innovative research
developments in an informal way.
IIR 2010 will take place at the
University of Padova, Italy,
on January 27-28, 2010 in conjunction
with the Italian Research Conference
on Digital Libraries (IRCDL, January
28-29, 2010).
Submissions
Papers may range from theoretical work
to system descriptions. We
particularly encourage Ph.D. students
or early stage researchers
to submit their research. We also
welcome contributions from the
industry when they focus on novel
research directions. Submissions will
be reviewed by at least three domain
experts. The conference language is
English. Please, submit papers
in PDF, using the
ACM
SIG Proceedings style. Papers have
a length of maximum
5 pages. Moreover, extended
abstract containing descriptions of
on-going projects or presenting
results already published are also
welcome and should be at most 2 pages
long. Accepted papers will be
published in on-line proceedings
on CEUR-WS.
